Never to old to learn

Postby terry08 » Sat Sep 03, 2016 5:16 am

I began working at the age of 15, not counting the yards I was mowing for 25 cents way before that.
After all these years, I learned something new this week. I always thought that labor day was a special day set aside to honor all the ladies who had ever been in labor. My mom said that you were to work harder on that day more than all other days. So that you might just feel a little bit of the pain that a lady in labor feels.
Well this week, I learned that I have been wrong all these years and that it is a day that you don't work. Oh well, I'm to old to change now, so guess I will work Monday as always. And honor all the ladies who have been in labor.
HAPPY LABOR DAY
