I can now get back to participating on the forum on a more regular basis... its been a long two years dealing the legal system. I will make it short a bookkeeper I hired 6 years ago embezzled tens of thousands of dollars out of the federal withholding taxes... I had to close the family business which my dad had turned over to me and my started started a new company to take care of customers and employees..

Well we got a conviction last week and I am in negotiations with the irs on the monies owed because the irs wanted to see how the case turned out, which my lawyers think they will try and get 80 percent of the taxes owed from her...

don't mean to dump something like this on the forum but I missed being able to read yawls post regularly and make post regularly...

feels like coming home

Goodness sounds like you've had your head and hands full. Really sickening that people do that. Had a situation similar to that about 10 years ago. While prosecuting the guy he died of cancer and everything was over after that. Never really felt any closure

That's terrible. We had a girl embezzle around 30k. She's now paying it back at $75 per month and no other punishment. Just sickening what people get away with. I can't stand a thief.

Glad you are back. I can't even imagine what you have been dealing with. I wonder what goes on in someone's mind that they think taking someone else money is ok.

Flipper it was Capital Security Services Inc in Jackson

I now work for Capital Security Systems LLC,

The lady was a good friends wife that I thought I was doing them a favor at the time. She had lost her job while recovering from breast cancer and they were living at deer camp because they had lost their home during that time.. I loaned them the money to move from deer camp to the house they presently live in... She worked here for 4 years and as for as I can tell she only stole the last six months....
