I know what most of you will say. Just look outside for yourself.
I do that, but just wish that once in awhile they could get it right. I try to plan my schedule the night before by what they forecast, seems that lately they get it wrong every day.

I know what you mean. I stayed home because of the rain. The rain that still hasn't happened. But, it has allowed me time to work on some outboards. I got a 1969 Evinrude 18 hp up and running again this morning. Next is a 1949 Atlas Royal 1.5 hp. Then maybe....

These TV networks and stations could save a lot of money if they did away with weather forecasters.

I always look at the national weather service website. radar.weather.gov that's where most of these so called forecasters get their info. these forecasters then change the info to suit them.

Where are you finding parts for these?

Parts for the 69 are common. You can get parts for it on Marineengine.com or boats.net. I am a member of AOMCI. Those guys have most everything for the older models. If you have an evinrude or johnson parts are usually available.

I look at the NWS radar of the South East...what ever is happening in southern Mississippi is gonna be in my neck of the woods in a few hours.
