Well after leaving the big city life and movin to the sticks, it fells great! Sold our big house in town and bought 40 acres and ordered new doublewide. Built pond, built shed and pole barn, planted big orchard and much more.

Got chicken, quail, turkey's, ducks and guinea fowl. We are loving it. Made pickled quail eggs yesterday.

Cleaned and cooked a big bowl of quail we raised. Boy, they tasted great. I have an incubator with about 140 quail eggs ready to hatch in about a week and a half

I'm raising corturnex quail. Ready to eat at about 9 weeks and start laying eggs about that same time. Eggs good to eat, but it just takes like 4 eggs to equal chicken egg.
