CLEAN OUT YOUR FREEZER DAY
Hunters for the Hungry will conduct our annual Clean Out Your Freezer Day on Sunday, September 24th, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Greater Baton Rouge Area. Clean out your freezer before the upcoming hunting season and donate frozen game, fish or anything from your freezer to the Hunter for the Hungry Food Drive in your area, We will also be collecting any non perishable food items that you can spare. Your bounty will be distributed to the needy within your community.. All items collected will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and will be distributed to the needy within your community.

​We will have locations at Cabela's in Gonzales, Bass Pro in Denham Springs, Red Boot Deli in Clinton, Feliciana Seafood in St. Francisville, Old Alex Box Stadium, Bowie Outfitters on Perkins, and CCA of Louisiana at 12241 Industrialplex in Baton Rouge.
​You can also make donations at these fire stations: in Baton Rouge at 835 Sharp Rd and 150 South Wooddale, in Baker at 3701 Groom Rd., in Central at 11646 Sullivan Rd, and in St. George at 7027 Antioch Rd and 16415 George O'Neal Lane.

I wish they would do something like that up here, close to memphis. THink how many hungry people could be fed with the extra deer meat.
