It's still a ways off will be starting my tomato plants in about 3 WEEKS I'm not planting any corn for the coons this year they got it all last year

Hopefully I will be planting potatoes in the next week or so and start getting the tomatoes seeded

I am hoping it dries up enough to prepare the ground for potatoes. Have you ever canned potatoes? We do and love them. So convenient to use. And they keep so well.

That sounds like a great thing to do. I haven’t planted any potatoes in years. I had to fight the fire ants for them. Any suggestions there?

We haven't had a huge problem with them in the garden. So other than poison I don't know.

I did my 1st garden plot last week. I plan on planting potatoes soon. Started broccoli, cabbage, and tomatoes in the green house

I used to grow and can potatoes. Now I buy them at the farmers market and can them.
