Got drawn for a mule deer buck tag this year, in the area I have been elk hunting the last few years. This should be like shooting fish in a barrel :ylsuper:

Hopefully, I will be bringing back elk AND mule deer :drool

Nice! That’s something I’ve always wanted to do but never had the chance or free time to go. Good luck buddy!

Dang, that's going to be an exciting hunt. I know you are already counting down the days.

Both my mule deer and elk hunts were very short in duration less than 30 minutes each maybe yours will last longet

i don't mind short hunts out there .. I'd rather the "hunt" be over quick, and then I can spend the rest of the time helping the others fill their tag, or spend the time just walking/exploring the beautiful mountains :ylsuper:

I agree on the short hunt. However, my days of "walking around" at 8k-9k elevation are over I hope. Now riding around is a different story, ha.
