New toy

Postby chadbragg » Mon Mar 11, 2019 6:15 pm

After Jr's Missouri trip hunting with a couple guys that had electric bicycles I decided I wanted one. I can honestly say it will be a complete game changer. Especially for early season and hunting the Midwest. I got a bike carrier so instead of pulling a trailer with wheeler or sxs I can just throw the bike on the back. I also got the cart to pull behind.
I've gotta say I'm really impressed with this unit. It's the Rambo 750w gen3. Runs 19mph and a range of 20mi. ImageImage

I wouldn’t call them a toy, more like a tool for hunting. They are not cheap and are looked at as an atv on public land.

I looked into that as well as called Jackson. The petal assist 750w and under aren't considered a motorized vehicle. I am looking forward to using it turkey hunting as well as in the Midwest next deer season.

I’ve heard both sides of that and I’m sure no states are the same. I’m sure no two agents will feel the same and 1 will be ok and the next issuing you a citation.

Put the cart together today. It'll make 12mph up my steep driveway pulling both girls. About 150lb plus my fat butt.

I may need one of those.... Are they hard to balance and steer on rough terrain?

So MDWFP doesn't allow them? Not even on private land? That thing is really powerful to haul all that. I may need to get one too. Riding a Harley may come in handy!

Private yes. Public no. Not even on national forest. Some states allow them being the power is under certain parameters.

The guy I spoke with at Jackson said it was legal being 750w. I figure every agent will have his owm interpretation. I plan to use it regardless.

She's absolutely awesome. Doesn't spin or anything. My only complaint is it throws water on ya pretty bad.

You may could extend the fenders and maybe it would cut down on the tires slinging water on you.
