prayers go out to the people in galveston....sounds like alot of people didnt evacuate...glad it didnt come here but i hope people will be allright.....one of my uncles/and his kids live 8 miles from the coast right by galveston, his kids evacuated but he didnt...he was already drunk when he called, hope he comes out alive...

I can't for the life of me understand why someone would stay anywhere near that TX coast with this hurricane bearing down on them. Hopefully the sensible evacuees will be safe. I can't show much pity for hard headed people.

simply because it takes a direct hit of a major hurricane to wake people up, if u see what i mean.....

prayers sent! Its crazy to try and ride this storm out. They were telling the people that stayed behind to write their name and ss# on their arms so they can id the bodys. Pretty harsh.

I agree, I do pray for the people that stayed behind but I think they are crazy with all the warnings they have had. I saw on the news yesterday that the ones that stay face almost certain death. I understand wanting to protect your belongings but not at that cost.
help preserve our national blast time.
