He is so arrogant that it makes me cringe when his show comes on. I guess its the Barta way.

He is the outdoorsman that has caught more big eye's than anyone, he is the best shot, best stalker, best fisherman, the best at everything and he'll tell you!!!

This is what I found on youtube. He's alot more annoying if you watch his show!!

"I did it the hard way, the Barta way."

A little bit goes a long way with this gift to the hunting world.

But.....I will say he does hunts the common man way, no fancy gagets or tons of sponsor plugs.

I actually like watchin his show. Just because I am glad to be able to watch a show that hunts with traditional equipment, OR just does stuff the hard way and is not affraid of showing an entire episode and not have a harvest. THATS OK. Not one of us goes in the woods and comes out everytime with a 160 class whitetail. I have seen some over the top kinda stuff he does such as going hog hunting with dogs and the only weapon he took was A KNIFE!!! kinda graphic and not too safe. Also the other one that comes to mind is one where he hunted canadian geese with his long bow. He dug a pit and as they flew over he would stand up and let the arrow fly. He was unsuccessful but came REAL close on one. I just think he is a real off the wall kinda guy thats enjoyable to watch.

i'm not big on him either.

when i hunt my favorite stand i have to ride a bicycle 1 1/2 miles on a "no motorized traffic" road into an archery only area to kill a doe only to have to ride out to get a game hauler and walk back in, load up the doe and walk back out. all this for the off chance of killing a doe in the public woods.

i would love to hunt the "barta way" for a change cause it seems easier than the "lugnut way"

I like him.

He is arrogant, but at least when he shoots a grizzly in the chest with his homemade bow i don't have to hear about how the mathews bow with the easton arrow and the rage broadhead did the job, but only when combined with the scentlok suit and the nikon optics, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Can you not take the game cart with you and tow it behind the bicycle?
