I have some bare spots on the end of the rows, and one in the middle. I think I'll come back in Sept and plant wheat in those areas.

Yes it does look better......come back and plant some winter peas then you will have a meal.....peas and corn. ;)

i checked my corn yesterday.. .Stalks about 6' tall, and not an ear on it :cry: Its just starting to flower/tassel though.

Corn cannot be far behind if you have tassels. Then the deer will be in your corn field next!

You need to make a night visit to the cornfield and rid it of some of the coons before they eat all the corn up.
