Looks interesting..

THis year I used "carbon boost" on my corn, and I think it definitely made a difference in ear size

it all helps. i used vanilla extract last year as a cover scent on some blinds. it made a difference.

sardis, you ever used the delta ag "soil solution" product? i think its a liquid gypsum product.

we use some stuff here on the farm testing it out that you spray on beans and it helps prevent the glyphosate from making them yellow flash in the overlaps.

Years ago I tried there Seed Coat ... Haven't planted another seed without since . Soil Solution did it's job on a plot that needed lime that I couldn't get out in time .Plant Power is true to it's name also !! They have great products !!

I mainly only spray my Brassica plots with the Keystone Nutri-Plot for the Vanilla attractant to get the deer turned on to like them sooner ..

:)

Nope. Don't need anything additional for brassicas, waste of funds to me.

I used that when I planted roundup ready alfalfa several years ago. Not sure how much it helped but I had some beautiful alfalfa until the first frost. Then the deer ate 14 acres of alfala to the roots before Christmas.

It is just too expensive to plant and spray, or that is all I would plant. Has the roundup ready alfalfa ever come back on the market?

Yes Carbon Boost uses a new, unique molecule and has been very reliable where we farm, it is not similar to any other product on the market that I know of, eventhough the name might be. Unlike most other new technologies, this works as advertised in our experience (3rd year), which is a pleasant change to some other products we have tried. Remember with corn, most of the yield is set before the 7th leaf so two 8oz applications (one at planting, one either side dress or as a foliar with other chemistry) before this stage should give good results i.e. > 8% yield increase.

welcome growmore.. I get the feeling your involved with chemicals or agriculture?

Thank you gtk, yes I have grown up farming mainly cotton, wheat, corn, milo, soybeans, and garbanzo beans. I have a BS in agriculture, before farming again and am interesting in new consistent technologies which are few and far between when you sort the wheat from the chaff. Glad to hear the Carbon Boost worked well for you too, I am recommending our neighbours check it out. As I love to hunt, I was interested when I came across your topic, thought I should contribute my limited experience.

We used a product Argus that is a carbon booster. You could see a difference. Also used Foliar Blend as a foliar feed of micro nutrients. And a product PurShade, which is a sun screen for veggies. It dropped temp in corn fields by 10°.

Thanks very much Sardisdeerhunter, I know Sanders stock the product in MS, their website is http://www.jsanders.com/company.html and I have located the company that makes Carbon Boost, they are in TN, called fbsciences, their website is www.fbsciences.com. Some interesting research and testimonials on there, I have also heard of Dr John Bradley who I think is working for them. Hope this helps..

Hello Lugnutzz, I haven't come across Argus, but believe PurShade is a Calcium Oxide which should work well as sun (UV) protectant, similar to the way chemists use Zinc Oxide as a sun protector cream for your nose in summer.
