Who is seeing a browse line in your area now ?

There is not one on our farm which is good.

But, there are several places on the way to work, that I can definately see a very well defined browse line....

:? Good question I havent noticed one but I havent looked for one either. They have almost killed the greens and eaten all the turnips but the wheat and rye grass still look good :)

Can't tell, we've got about 500 acres in wheat and a few small food plots tucked away in the woods. They're VERY far from "cleaning their plates" around here.

We had some hevy browse lines this summer. We planted a good many food plots for the deer and a couple of them look like someone is trying to mow the dirt. I am planning to put a couple of exclusion cages on the plots to compare unprotected to protected growth. Will let you know what I find.

gtk, I won't have been hunting in three weeks by next weekend. I took a 2 week mini-session class in Structural Design. It was 8-12 from Tues. - Sat. and Mon. - Fri. So that wiped out the middle weekend even. Last weekend my fiancee and I went to Batesville with my mom and little sister to see my Dad. He's been working up there since September and I haven't been yet. So here I am Tues. Jan. 16 and school starts back today.
