Anyone had any experience with this feeder? It's the 300lb hopper version.
I ordered it today along with a 6v rechargeable battery, and a 6v solar panel...

I've got 3 of them ES. They work great. When you assemble them buy a pack of self tapping screws for the legs & be patient putting the gasket in, it's a pain! Also unless you plan to use a ladder to fill it don't use but 2 of the leg sections on each leg.

Thanks CB, I'm anxiously awaiting the UPS man, even though it was an accidental order LOL

I bought one last season and I am disappointed with the battery life. I use the rechargeable 6 volt type. I have a 4 year old moultrie feeder that has been used more than the monsta d and the moultrie is on its second set of D batteries. The moultrie runs longer and more often than the monsta. I will not purchase another Monsta. Moultrie from here on out.

The monsta has been out for 6 months with a rechargeable and solar charger. It runs twice a day everyday for 10 seconds or so. Have refilled it twice at that rate. I have no complaints at all. It may quit tomorrow lol but for now I like it

Yes, facing south in direct sunlight for most of the day, each time I checked the battery meter reads full.
