Started Working an A Couple Plots

Postby jv » Tue Sep 06, 2016 3:21 pm

We got out this weekend and started working on a couple of food plots before it got so hot around lunch time.

Nontypical not sure where you are, but up here (alcorn county) they are pretty much gone.

Cb123 they are actually moth larva that come through and eat all grass/crops in their way. Unless they are real bad, they seem to focus on the ends of the grass.

When I'm mowing an area with alot of them the concrete drives and walks gets covered.

They are very active in the southwest part of the state. In this area you are usually ok after the end of September. I normally don't plant before the second week of October.
