If you aren't...I'll tell you now, there ain't no getting rid of it. Spray. Burn. Plow. It just seems to make it stronger.

Well that sucks!! Last year i didnt even bushhog but about half of the field because it takes a good 3 or 4 times to get this stuff knocked down enough to be able to plant something. I may just hunt it this year and not even worry about it.. It usually dies off i little during winter.

Not for it to be cut down, but for it to also be chopped up enough or disked under enough to be able to plant. Its real thick and its just as thick when its cut laying on the ground your trying to plant.

What is outrider?

Bushhog as low as possible , spray with Eliminator Grass Killer, Let stand for 2 weeks then turn it under with a turning plow and then disc and you should be fine. My $.02... ;) .....Ed
