Are you talking about food-plot corn or row-crop corn ?

did it make anything before it got knocked down ? If so, and you have enough corn planted, then you may still have some on the ground by gun season....

I havent checked mine. I"m worried about my tower stand !! Hope the guide wires held it up...

bt58 will know where it is , Raymond on hwy18, is where I saw all the corn down. Bt58's folks farm is probably 20 miles or so from there and if I remember right, they grow cotton mostly.

update, I saw the farmers picking corn yesterday in those flattened fields and it appeared to be going well. I guess they just dropped the picker to the ground and dug that corn up.

It was ROUGH! There were times that we could only cut at 1 mile an hour, but we got ours out and averaged better than 125 bushels/acre. We're guessing that we got around 80% of what was there before the storm. As far as flat we decided we were digging corn kind of like you dig peanuts.

Yep everything is cleaned up and parked back under the shed. We were one of the first through with cotton and made a little extra by picking some cotton for other folks.
