I've planted oats before and they worked better than straight rye grass as far as bringing deer in. Bio-Logic is what I use now and love it. Green Patch Plus mostly.

i just picked up a 50 llb bag for $20 bucks. Whats everyone else paying for them ???

Also saw some "muck" boots foro 69 bucks. I really liked them... very flexible and very, very light compared to my LaCross boots.

We planted some of them last weekend. Also planted a mix from a coop in red banks called Hawks Seed Mix . They make there own and sell for $10 for 50lbs. Seems to do real well. Wheat, Marshall, Red Clover, Winter peas and oats. Also planted a new mix out of a coop in Tunica called buck mix not sure about it yet.....Ed
Thank God for each and every opportunity that You have to take a kid hunting and set an example.

i started bush-hogging yesterday. i sat on a tractor from 9:30 till 4:00. when I clipped over my clover, it didnt look good. I will probably have to plant it over.

that patch has been there for 4 years, and thats about all i've ever gotten out of a clover patch is 4 or 5 years.
