Trans plant white oaks?

Postby tblue » Tue Dec 30, 2008 11:55 pm

I have a lot of young oaks in areas where i will be enlarging my food plots and dont want to mulch them or cut them down. I would like to pull them from the ground and trans plant them to either buckets for a while or to another area. What time of year can i pull them from the ground and what type of care when taken them from the ground?

anytime between now and about February. I wouldn't put them in buckets, I'd dig (don't "pull") them up and replant them ASAP.
