I have shooting windows cut out in the side of that old barn you see in the background. There is Ladino clover planted to the left and above the corn and all around the barn. It was planted last fall and now is about knee deep.

I got mine planted this past Friday. Using equipment close to 100 years old, it went like this, "plant a row, fix the planter, plant a row, fix the planter".. It will be interesting to see how much seed actually got put in the ground..

I also went back over the same rows and side dressed it with those Round-Up ready forage soybeans.

I got a brief shower on mine right after I planted it. I wonder how long it will take to come up?

gtk.......I planted mine on Friday and the next Wednesday it was up about an inch. The planter I used stopped up on one side. I found this out on the last set of rows I planted.......but after it came up I had only skipped one row!!! I am going to plow mine first of next week and give it some ammonia nitrate.

It didn't work right because you were not dressed in overalls and brogans and walking behind that planter hitched to a mule! Ya gotta be authentic when ya are doing those historical reenactment food plot plantings. :D :D
