Suggestions on New Binoculars ?

Postby a10acfan1 » Wed Dec 06, 2006 9:09 pm

Looking to get a new pair of quality binoculars, hopefully for Christmas. I have a compact set of Bushnell's 7X-15X Varible in about 30 mm objective that heve outlived my old eyes. Looking at 10X-42 in either a Nikon or Bushnell. Any Suggestions??

I would suggest Nikon or Leupold...better quality than the bushnell.

I have two pairs of the Nikon, love 'em. I'm partial to Nikon, I also have several scopes.

A friend of mine has the Leupold wind river binoculars and he loves them.

I just use my rifle scope.

The Nikon Monarch 10X42 was one of the ones I looked at. I have a Nikon rangefinder and 2 Nikon scopes. Might as well make it a full house. LOL Anyone experienced any problems. My biggest problem is fogging up when i wear a face mask. Thx for the comments.

I've had 3 Nikon scopes....a prostaff, a buckmasters, and now a monarch. All have been good scopes. Never had any of their binocs though.

If they're as good as the Burris rifle scopes then they're worth the money. I have a FullField II 3.5-10x50 riflescope and I love it. Much clearer than the Nikon, I have and the higher dollar Nikon my in law has.

I know I didn't answer your question but maybe my $.02 will help.
