Interesting "limit mag capacity" opinion on AL blog site

This guy wants to limit magazine capacity and make it retroactive!!!

Had read a shortened version of this opinion piece from blog site in neighboring Alabama in our paper this morning.

These kinds of ideas is what concerns me to no end. To urge passage of a law that would make literally millions of Americans criminals with no grandfathering clause is real activism and clearly shows that they do not see the intent of the founding fathers about standing against a tyrannical government as a legitimate reason to have arms with mags in excess of 7 rounds which seems such an arbitrary number, guess it comes from the concept of a 6 shooter. This would make my 10 round 22 pistol illegal as well as the old break open 9 shoot 22 revolver a friend of mine had years ago. Guess to make that gun legal one would have to go to a gunsmith to have 2 holes permanently blocked.

Funny enough you can't own large capacity mags or assault rifles but 'they' own both......
