Resizing Range Brass

Postby jbullard1 » Tue Apr 09, 2013 4:25 pm

Be careful when doing this!!
9mm Luger
I ran it all through the cleaner and it was pretty and shiny.
I broke 3 primer punch pins due to cases with Bearden primers.
Finally I started checking them all.
Got to order some more parts :W: :W:

How do you tell its got the Bearden primers. Do they have a certain headstamp on the brass?

They are in some imported ammo, look in the case you will see 2 small holes instead of one hole in the middle

I think RCBS makes a tool to remove Berdan primers. It work by puncturing the primer from the outside.

With the military crimp and beardan priming system the small number I had and the lack of beardan primers I put the cases in the scrap brass jug
