What next?

Postby patinlouisiana » Wed Sep 18, 2013 3:31 pm

Just gave my God Child's hubby one of my old rifles so there is a void in my gun safe ;-)
I'm thinking about an A.R. style but not sure.
Any thoughts or recommendations? :drool

Windham Weaponry (http://windhamweaponry.com/). These are the original Bushmaster guys. You can even buy them thru Walmart if you want.

Get one chambered in .300acc blackout. !!!
uses all the same lower parts as the 5.56 , but shoots a 30cal bullet.
much more knock down power, and if you suppress it ..... oooh, lah lah !!!!
perfect for pigs and deer alike.
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison: Gen 27:3

I read where the .300 AAC Blackout was going to qualify as "primitive weapon" next year.

I'm going to recommend Rock River... I'm biased but mine has been flawless so far. I've been VERY happy with the fit and finish of it. For the price they are hard to beat.

I heard it had to be a .30 cal or larger with exposed hammer. May be way off, I have no clue, I believe a gw friend posted that on FB. To my understanding its only the "primitive season" that'll change.
