How small it too small?

What is the smallest caliber you trust to protect yourself?
The “Baby Browning .25 autoloader.

I remember one time while hiking with my girlfriend in northern Alberta out of nowhere came this huge brown bear charging us and was she mad! We must have been near one of her cubs. Anyway, if I had not had my Baby Browning in my pocket I would not be here today.

Just one shot to my girlfriends knee cap was all it took….. the bear got her and I was able to escape by just walking at a brisk pace.
It’s one of the best pistols in my collection.

My mom has a little 25 like that. Surprisingly its accurate within 8 yards or so and I PROMISE you if I pointed it at you you would stop and if I fired at you you would be headed the other way.

Pat, that was some quick thinking on your part. Most people would have tried for the bear, and not lived to tell about it. ;)

To be honest Terry I'm not that quick on my feet. Stole the story from Facebook. The name of the gun was changed to protect the innocent.
