What is the deal with the 45-70? Can you guys use it in the place of a primative weapon. Do you get a special season with a primative weapon. And if you do somebody give me some trajectory info.

the .45-70 is allowable in MS's primitive weapon season (muzzleloader). A lot of people like it so much they use it during regular rifle season. I really enjoy shooting mine (NEF 45-70). I shoot the hornady 325 grain. Jbullard reloads for his and he can probably give you particulars on trajectory info .

Bigfoot, were are you from ?
