Limbsaver Recoil Pad

Postby jbullard1 » Tue Oct 10, 2006 2:18 pm

I am very skeptical about the latest and greatest products but I opted to drop 30 bucks on one for the NEF 45 70   Man these things work :!: I dont think it lessened the recoil but it sure changed the way it is felt. Ill have one on the 835 before turkey season :D

I was the same way with the recoil reducer for my benelli nova but that sucker works nicely. The recoil of a 3 1/2" magnum was reduced to that of a 2 3/4"heavy load steel shot.

Now it takes about 15 shots to turn my shoulder black... it was taking only 2 to get that job done.

jb1, I have to agree with you. I think gtk misquoted himself and meant to say "(that I don't need at this moment but at some point in the future, I will be very happy to have it)"

Otherwise how could you explain to the significant other why you have 3 or 4 different types of hunting coat alone?
