MoonPhase/Time Of Day/ Graphs from Trailcam Data

Postby gtk » Sat Aug 05, 2006 7:23 pm

I had 1,939 digital pictures from my trailcams. these are from 2001-2006.

I wrote some software that allows me to store for each picture, the :

Number of Deer
Number of Bucks
Number of Does
Number of Fawns

and a unique ID for each buck.

I've started putting some graphs together, and thought it interesting how the "Wanning Gibbious" moon produces more deer sightings than the Full.

I am trying to think up some other graphs I could create from the data.

Brother....that is some very usefull information!

Kind of backs up my opinion and experience..........most of all good bucks I have seen or killed, were between 10 am EST aand 2 PM est.

There are numerous additional external factors involved like hunter leaving or entering the woods etc........

But that is really good info!

Thanks GTK :D You let my secret out. Probably 75 % of my deer were taken between 9am and 2pm and especially while other hunters were going to or coming from lunch
