Hi from Scotland

Postby Guest » Wed Aug 26, 2009 1:56 pm

Hello all, its very nice to be here. I was recommended by my fiance to join as he is a MS native (Tupelo) but lives here with me.

I am planning a big bowhunt to my in laws place they have 280 acres to hunt on and the deer have been pretty neat from what i've seen.
Our plans are to move back to MS (when I graduate university) but still have a home here aswell so we have the best of both worlds as far as hunting/visiting goes :D

Anyways i just wanted to say hi anyway and its a pleasure to be here.

Welcome to the Msdeer.net forum and we look forward to talking with you
I am not far from the Tupelo area and we have several other members that are close by. Maybe we can get a hunt rounded up once you are back in the USA

Welcome to the site Caledonian Bowhunter. I have not been around for a while but this remains a great site. I have not even been able to write up this year's Africa Hunt yet. I will get round to it.

A Scot myself, I am curently located in Staffordshire. However I have a 4000 acre deer lease in Aberdeenhire that I get up to whenever I can.

Hope you enjoy the discourse wih the good people on this site.

Good to be back again GTK. I hadn't forgotton where you are. Africa trip for 2009 will be written up soon.

One of the guys that shares my lease is from Stonehaven Calebowhunter. We have lots of roe deer and few reds. We have taken a couple of nice stags but have not broken any records. We should take about 115 deer a year from the ground.

Here is one I shot a couple of years back. I shot it with a Sauer 202 Outback in .25-06, 100gn Hornady Spire Point.
