Spotted Fawn?

Got this pic just a few minutes ago of what appears to be a spotted fawn. Seems early but guess it could have happened. Deer gestation periods are around 200 days so that would put the fawn conceived around September 30th. Doesn’t look like a really Imageyoung fawn so it was probably a little before that if it is.

I’m not sure it’s a fawn. Could be last years fawn that is shedding its winter coat.

It’s definitely spotted whether a fawn or not. I’ve got several other pics. Clear as day. I’ll try to upload them later. Definitely not winter coat shedding.

I had a spotted fawn on camera during February last year. I currently am watching one on camera that just lost its spots.

Not uncommon down here in the southern counties to have spotted fawns until early Nov.

I’ve frequently seen spotted fawns in October here in Yazoo Co.

Got 4 spotted fawns in Washington Co as of this morning. Odd as I’ve never seen 6 deer at one time ever on this piece of property. 3 doe, 4 fawns. All with spots. Camera says rut was first 2 weeks of December last yr?

I pulled camera cards today across 3 separate leases and the farm. Every one of them had multiple spotted fawns. Some very tiny. Several sets of twins.

I watched an orphaned spotted fawn at my house and the plot behind my house last year. It was a little buck and the last pics I had of him were about the time turkey season opened and he still had spots.

I've seen several very small spotted fawns on game cam pics and almost ran over a couple when spraying plots a couple weeks ago. Seems to be a good recruitment this year. Just hope they avoid the coyotes and highways.
