Season changes

Has anyone noticed that the Governor signed off on the extended season for the Southern counties for the 05 - 06 season. I think the bill says to Feb 15th (Feb 1 to Feb 15--primitive weapon). Does this means it's a done deal or now does it wait on WFP's to approve it????

I think its a "done deal", but dont quote me on it :) It should mean for some better hunting for those folks way down south.. they have been needing it.

I hunt in Greene County. I was scouting for Turkeys in the beginning of March and still finding wet scrapes. I've yet to really hunt a "TRUE" rut in all my years of hunting...I'm 35. So....I'm looking forward to it!

Gonna work out beautifully for me....I'll still get to start Oct. 1st on our land at home and I'll be able to hunt the extra two weeks down here at school.
