yep. I don't think the deer really care what it looks like as long as it's salt.

Is this a good deal? Looks to be about three times the size at the sporting goods stores and a third the cost?

That is a trace mineral salt block like we use for cows and horses. It is all I use for deer and they love it. If you know how you can split it in half.

yup that what i use and buy 50lb sack salt both will run u bout 13 14 bucks

well, the ones at the sporting goods stores have probably been de-scented.... :W:

Honestly, the ones at the sporting goods store probably came from the same manufacturer but were cut down and the price jacked up so they could be "special" for the deer.
