I have seen this before many times. This weather pattern for whatever reason effects the deer population. I don't expect any good results until December, and even then it may not pan out.
Drought conditions, change everything in nature. We will just have to see how it turns out.

Yeah Terry, I seem to do better in wet conditions. Even better when it's cold. I like wet conditions cause it's easier to read fresh sign and actually pattern movements. Nothing like being in the stand right after a hard rain.

I haven't been able to hunt yet, but I have 6 trailcams out. I have been getting activity all night long down in the swamp, but nothing during the day other than does, fawns, and young bucks right at daylight and dark. The guys hunting the property next to me have had similar results with their trail cam pics, with the exception of one plot they have by a really wet area in a thicket where they have been getting some daytime pics of one or two decent bucks.

I typically see 10 or so does every hunt. A lot still have fawns and others I just couldn't get a shot at. I have seen plenty of does this year. More than most seasons I just don't have any bucks on camera the past month. I have two good 8 points on camera and I know they are in the area but I haven't seen them in a month. I called chad last night I saw the weirdest thing last night driving home. I was in the kossuth area and a real good buck ran across the road In front of me and looked like a doe in front of him. He had his nose to the ground and they both were running. I know they are not rutting but it was weird.
