Won't be until Dec. 15th. But I'll be after them during this moon phase. Heading out this morning, but haven't been seeing much daylight movement.

Not hunting today got our families get together today but yesterday I got to the woods at 11 o'clock and checked two cameras going in both had deer on them but all at night. Hunted till dark and hadn't seen a deer, when I checked out I saw where 6 other hunters had checked in and no one had fired a shot. The deer are all just moving at night.

Seems that way, I saw nothing yesterday and not hearing any shooting around me. Gonna sit until 10:00 a.m, then come back later. Beautiful morning God, has blessed us with.
Jv, have a blessed day with the family.

Yeah, foggy here also and a damp chill in the air. Maybe the sun will break out soon. 8:00 a.m, nothing stirring yet.

Yesterday someone shot on the adjacent property and it was so close that my husband was sure it was me who had done the shooting. This morning I was going in the woods and saw that someone has put a shooting house up on the power line (on adjacent property). Made me a little nervous.

Terry that's when I usually get my best chance at a decent buck. They seem to be chasing wide open in our area then.

I think that's why I never see any monsters. As many as I let walk, there should be lots of them now. I know there are some out there and they are smart, but still, for years now I have been passing on many nice young deer. I admit that I have taken one here and there, but it shouldn't have put a dent in our buck population.

It's so hard to manage for quality bucks on small/medium tracts of property. Deer range far, especially during rut. But I bet the wily old bucks are hiding out somewhere.
