Resiliency

I got these pics of a buck that lost part of his right rear leg somehow. He has continued to thrive although he has the expected non development of his antler on the opposite side.ImageImageImage

They are definitely tough animals.
Over the years I have been amazed at some of the healed wounds and damage I see to them.

I shot one a few years ago with my bow hit him what I believed a sure kill shot right behind the shoulder a little high I killed the buck a year later he was perfectly OK with a scar on both sides his rack was about thesaurus size they are some tough animals for sure
