Whats happening in your neck of the woods ?

No more corn or camera

Postby terry08 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 3:31 pm

Put out a hundred pounds of corn, last weekend. Went to start the new shoot shack yesterday with my son. The corn was gone and had 640 pictures. Being that the camera is set to take pictures every 15 seconds, most are the same deer feeding. They will have to learn to feed themselves, from now on.

The neighbors don't feed. Guess that is why they come to visit our place.

We normally run 6-8 game cameras through out Sept with a pile of corn in front of each one in order to conduct a survey but because we are close to cwd area were not allowed to feed or even put out salt in Ozark co. Mo this year .

I wish it was that way here also. Sooner or later folks will learn the hard way that feeding corn is detrimental.
