My son missed the biggest buck I've ever seen..

Whats happening in your neck of the woods ?

My son missed the biggest buck I've ever seen..

Yup, at 450 this evening the largest buck I've ever seen walked out and Brayden shot and missed the buck of a lifetime. He is upset and I was in shock. What a beautiful animal but a clean miss.

That's a heartbreaker. Tell him not to be too hard on himself. If I saw one like that I'm not sure I could quit shaking long enough to even get a shot.

Oh no, he probably had the fever so bad. He would have missed the side of a barn at ten feet, I know I would have.

If I had seen that one, I would have just probably looked in awe and not even be able to pick my gun up to shoot.

Not to sound negative but that missis gonna light a fire under his butt like crazy. He would’ve been ruined if he would’ve killed it. That buck is what makes up get up early and hunt hard when you can. Life is a journey of memories, he has plenty more to make.
