New tract...

Postby chadbragg » Fri Oct 12, 2018 5:58 am

I went and looked at a job Saturday and the lady gave me permission to hunt, she newly acquired 7ac in the middle of town. I went back Monday and hung a camera on a trail where I found 3 old rubs. Went back yesterday. There are few does but several bucks and she definitely has a coyote problem. Here are a few of the bucks. I'm hoping the 9pt will make an appearance this weekend. Made a sit this morning and saw 3 coyotes. Missed one trying to squeeze a bolt through a 2" opening. This evening I brought my 22 with the suppressor along and when I pulled up there was one standing in her yard. He got a subsonic hollow point to the eye.

This evening I saw 3 bucks and 2 does. 1 7pt fed across the ridge and while I was reading 2 bucks slipped down to the pond. They were both almost up to their stomach when I noticed them. Only 25yds but was to thick for a clear shot. After they drank they fed the opposite direction.
