Well, I was a bit premature in saying the bucks had split. I saw the double main again and a more mature one was coming behind him to eat acorns. Then I walked over the hill and saw 3 young ones together and another one, still young, on back behind them.ImageImageImageImageImage

Bet they won't be that friendly with each other, in a couple weeks :)

the big boys will fight and the little ones will slip in and "hook up" with the does while big-boys are busy worrying with each other :D

We need a frost or something. This evening at least 4 of those bucks came running out in the pasture like young calves bucking and throwing their heads around. I couldn't believe that any with racks like that would still be acting so silly.
