Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone has a blessed day , with family and friends. Remember our service men and women, and all first responders, who won't be home or will be working on this special day. God Bless you all.

Know what you mean. We usually celebrate with the niece and her husband, the whole family is always there. But due to her husband having major cancer surgery the 29th. We agreed to cancel. Everyone is doing there own at home, this year. Problem is I don't know how to cook small. It will be Sherrie, and I only. But, I have started preparing at 7: 00 a.m this morning. Enough food to feed 30 easily.
I blame my wonderful mom. She either blessed me, or put a curse on me, when she began teaching me how to cook at age five. Wish she were here.

Wow, there’s a lot of aloneness this year. We too are staying home. Both of us have had bronchitis and still trying to go to work, so we need rest. Grilling beef tenderloin filets this evening. Have enjoyed my morning hunt. Saw quite a few bucks, all small except for 2. One was really nice, but I decided to let him walk.....this time.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. God is so good!

Jerry, what could possibly be so horrible, that could ruin a day of Thanksgiving?

We had a good Thanksgiving, both boys were home off the pipeline. My daughter traveled to Colorado to see her husband on the pipeline. Lots of food, and a multitude of things to be thankful for this year.
