Not looking good as far as next year's season. According to mdwfp, it is not looking good. Two more cases, one in isaquena, and one in Marshall County.

I think now we can just say we got cwd here. I hope the state gets check in stations per county and have decent turn arounds on results.

I think as of now all the WMA’s have a ckeck point set up and there are several others in the counties affected so far but it’s not looking good for the state so far.

The only solution now is to kill them all out and start over.

i'm not going to be too worried about it. i'll just make sure not to eat any sick looking deer ..

or maybe give it up altogether, and start squirrel hunting !

can you imagine how the deer population is going to explode if CWD causes a lot of hunters to quit ?

My thoughts on cwd it had been around for some time in other states and their herd seems to be fine I think cars kill more than cwd maybe we should ban cars or deer hunters they kill a lot too I think it has been around a while but they just started testing had they not tested it would not be an issue just my thoughts

I agree with Bigsteve, it's been around a long time , in other states and probably here. People hunt and eat deer killed in those states all the time. We don't normally eat meat from sick looking deer anyway.

I am holding to what I said a lot earlier. MDWFP does not want feeding and this CDW has just sprung up. It is a way for the "Good ole boys" to eliminate feeding and feeders. Let Nature take it's course.
