Whats happening in your neck of the woods ?

Update: I figured it was worth a try to ask the lady at Rack Shack Outdoors for a refund on my deer. Surprisingly she agreed saying it was good business. We tried to figure out what the problem could be, but there was not really a common denominator. She said my meat did smell bad...... that that was something they could tell. Bottom line, good folks. I’ll end it there.

It never hurts to ask in a polite way. Glad they were in agreement with you. They may have had cooler issues. You will never know the answer. But if they knew that the meat smelled bad , they should have notified you before proceeding.
All's well that ends well.

I’m sorry. Typo. She said my meat did NOT smell bad.

We tried a number of processors for years, and never found meat we could eat. Until several years ago and we tried Rutn and Cutn at Crystal Springs. Best processed meats anywhere, hands down. Sausage is fantastic, just the right mix, I love their pineapple sausage. The ground is the perfect texture and mix. It's a drive for us but well worth it. It's basically the only meat we eat.
