It depends on who you ask! Some of the Great White Hunters on the other forums would scoff at him and brag about the big ones that they hunt ( look for ). Me? I'd bust him!!

I know what you mean DavidT. I feel no hunter should critique another, as long as that hunter is doing it ethical & legal. To each his own. Its fine to express opinions, but folks dont need to run down another feller just becasue he doesnt see it their way.

Some folks like hunting "deer", not just trophy bucks ... ok.. i'll quit rambling.

Got the a/c fixed on the tractor so I can bushog  doesnt that just sound pittifull ? My g-grandfather would be so embarressed listening to me complain about no "a/c" in the tractor...

My corn is looking real good, my clover "so so" (needs cooler weather).. As soon as I get time I will start bushogging.. Hopefully this year I will be thru bush-hogging before Bow season opens.

I'm running behind, due to joining a different club. But I'm learning my way around, and will get started this weekend hopefully. But I want to go to the Expo in H'burg Sat.

Not knowing about whitetails and how it works over with you guys, I can only say what I would do here. If in season and legal, I'd shoot the buck and here is my justification.

With our deer, a good set of antlers this year does not equal a better set next year. There are too many variables. Age, food availablility, type and quantity and general health of the animal.

If I left him, he could walk onto the neighbour's ground and be shot there.

Our cull plan calls for sixty per cent yearlings, twenty per cent middle aged and twenty per cent mature. He looks like part of the twenty per cent mature!! :D

Stuck??? Never...8) No, A buddy and I decided to hunt on a creek one morning and each of us shot a doe...one weighing right at 150 and the other 125. So in our lazy ways we schemed up using my Warn 9000 as a deer retriever and I pulled to the edge of the bank and snatched those nannies right up the creek bank. It was January 3rd and so hot that I had shed my shirt. As Paul Harvey says, "Now you know the rest of the story..." :D

Here's a couple of pics that go with the story...
