Hi All, new to the boards here. I hunt way down south in Jackson County and wanted to post a pic (If I can) of my first Buck which was killed on 1/29. 9 point. I am 41 and have hunted for 27 years, off and on, needless to say I am excited about this one and will keep my hunting for at least 27 more!! :D

27 years is a long time, but that buck looks like he was well worth the wait :) Maybe now they will come around more often for ya :) Congrats on a nice buck!

Congrats on the buck- a trophy buck. You'll never forget that one. Good news though - it seems as though when you kill your first RACK buck the others follow. I use to hunt in vancleave off old biloxi road and wire road no to far from the red creeek management area. It seemed like that area has more bucks than does. We hunted that peice and killed 8 bucks a year. We would see countless bucks and hardly any does. We took 2 does off in the time we spent and wanted to take more but just didnt see them. Try rattling over there -It works.
