God is still in control.

Good morning I'm back in my room after staying with Tom all night. He is doing so much better, praise the Lord! He had 2 or 3 breathing treatments that have helped a lot with loosening up the stuff in his lungs. The central line which is a cluster IV ports that was put in during surgery

Was removed last night. It is used for giving IV treatments and drawing blood. Apparently they think it will not be needed any longer so it was removed. Was getting another bedside chest xray so I had to leave anyway. Plan to get a few hours of sleep and then go back to his room. I know this is long but I wanted you all to know he is doing so much better. Will send more as I get it. Love to all of you. Please excuse any mistakes. I'm speaking this and sometimes it does not say what I wanted to!!

Believe in the power of Prayer.
Thanks for all your prayers and support.
Latest Update

Tom is doing so well I've chosen to stay in my guest services room tonight. Looking forward to a good nights rest. Surgeon was in a little while ago and was pleased with TOM'S recovery. He just have to remember not to lift things heavy and overdue. That's so hard when you're used to doing whatever you want to do but now are restricted again. I keep praying for some answers to come soon. Thank you for all your prayers and concerns.

I love you all Rebecca

By the way the second CT scan done this morning was negative also which is wonderful. A neurologist thought it might have something to do with him being taken off of the medicine for myasthenia gravis. Another medicine he takes 4 MG has been increased to take up the slack for the one deleted. No more scary episodes with slurred speech.

Between posting here and keeping his friends informed on Facebook. I am losing track.
Here is the latest. Tom & Becky appreciate & thank you all for your prayers.

After hearing the diagnosis of lymphproliferative disease we were pretty much thinking the worst. The oncologist came in and gave us some better news. The drug imuran that Tom takes for myasthenia gravis is the root of the problem. The doctor said when he gets off of that and is off of it for several weeks his body will begin to regenerate the immune system. In the meantime he will treat with an IV drug called rituxan to fight the Epstein Barr virus that is causing the problem in his lungs. I am much relieved knowing it is a treatable problem. Tom is still not there yet. Thank you for your support and your prayers.

The treatment has started. Praying

Oncology Dr just called to say the treatment would be given soon and would take 6 hrs. He'll be by later this afternoon. He's confirmed with pathologists the diagnosis he told us Wed. Looks like we'll be here another night. He's not ready to go home anyway in my opinion.

Things are finally getting started. Haven't seen Dr yet. This room is like an icebox!! They are supposed to get it fixed or move us again. This med causes riggers so he doesn't need to be cold to begin with !! I'm wrapped in a blanket & he has 2!!
