Early birthdY present

Postby bigsteve » Sat Jul 12, 2014 6:04 am

My wife and kids got me a new cross bow a barnett raptor 330 it only weighs 6lbs and is 16" wide has a red dot scope after zeroing I can put a bolt in a 1" dot out to 40 yds this thing is amazingly. Accurate other than being a little loud and shooting through my target I think it will be just fine just have to adapt and overcome I really wanted to shop for one but I will just have to use the one they got me will do just fine has a definate advantage over a vertical bow will not have all the movement when dawing so the deer should be calmer looking foreward to the cance to have another muzzy moment

Congrats post pics! Mine came with the red dot, but after only a couple of hunts I replaced it with a standard scope. In my opinion the dot didn't work well in low light....

I am eventually going to get a cross bow, I don't know how many more years my shoulder is going to hold up. I have slowed way down on how many times I shoot each day because of it now.. Hope yu have a great season with yours and hope to see some cool pics as you have spoiled us with
