what kind of set up you going to be hunting?

Lets Talk Archery..

what kind of set up you going to be hunting?

Postby huntall » Sun Sep 14, 2014 6:16 am

My first set up for season is a hardwood draw with a creek crossing that buts up against a 8 yr old thicket bedding area. With the acorns that are in this spot the deer will be coming from the thicket.

Whats your opening set up going to be?
Bring it on I'm ready!

It all depends on the wind and what my cameras are showing between now and then but I'll prolly be on a hardwood ridge somewhere.

Wind don't matter to me. On the small forty acres, I can pretty much guarantee they will come to the gas line at some time of day.

In fact I just got back from going to check corn 11:00 am and two nice bucks were feeding. Got to get a new camera tomorrow.

Those of you that was planning on a foodplot...the dry weather may make them come in strong a little later this year.
I am gonna just stick with the acorns early season.
