I started running cameras mid August.

Since then I've averaged roughly 1k pics a week. I have yet to get even one pic of a buck.

I've never killed a buck on the place but have had fun watching them over the years. First year I can remember in the last 10 that I can't find a rub! Also first year we've held does all year long. Wife's yelling deer meat and I'm just sitting here lol. Figured the Bucks gotta come in the next few weeks and I want all the help I can get.

This year I'm getting more buck pics than does, sometimes only bucks when I pull the cards. They aren't all big, but I'm not complaining. Same thing is happening to my neighbors. I don't know what is going on. We did have a bumper crop of yearling bucks last year, 4 or 5 two year olds, and 3 big bucks that we didn't kill.

I had a friend tell me one time that the only thing keeping cameras out did was drive you crazy!

Last year running cameras I had a few does and a mix of a few older and yearling bucks. This year I am seeing lots and lots of does. 8 to 10 at a time in some areas. Bucks are few and far between.
I have not even put a camera out at the club we hunt or here on the farm. While doing farm work I have seen several good bucks.

Last time I looked at my pics from the cameras there were no rack bucks only does and one spike. Last year at the end of season there were 10 or 12 big cow horns and young forked horn bucks that were here along with three big mature bucks. None of them on camera this year. Had a four point and a five point earlier, but nothing now.

The Arkansas herd suffered a big outbreak of blue tounge ( Ehd) it reduced herd numbers drasticly seems to have effected the bucks more than does they will come back in time
