What kind of Bow do you shoot?

Lets Talk Archery..

I had a Switchback that I thought I would never part with, BUT my son who lives in Colorado bought a place in the country and decided he wanted to start back bow hunting. Being the Great Father that I am I gave it to him. My wife was so proud of me she said I could buy a NEW Z7. Had it about a month. :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

What a beautiful, awesome bow! Did you make it yourself? I have an osage orange tree along with plenty of bamboo on my land that I would love to cut and have someone skilled make a bow like that for me. I lack the knowledge and skill to do it myself. Like you, I finger shoot instinctively with no sights or release. A long bow like that is the only thing I would consider hanging up my 42 year old recurve to shoot!

Bowtech-General, QAD rest, Trophy Ridge sights, Easton Axis arrows fletched with 4" quickspin vanes, Muzzy MX-4 broadheads. After thirty years of bowhunting, this is the best setup I have ever had. Put 4 down last season, not one ran over 40 yards!

Matthews reezen 6.5 and love it. I hammered a doe last year at 15yds with the arrow stuck several inches into the ground and the other deer around me just stood there wondering why the doe ran off.

Hey Shag, I noticed you got that Simmons Aetec mounted on that 742 ... how's that
scope holding up for ya ? Heard some good things about the older ones but wondering if
that's a newer one you got mounted and your opinion ... looking for something reliable
but easy on the wallet
