Bowtech Guardian, review!!!

Do any of you guys shoot or have experience the Guardian? If so what are your takes on it? What does it chrono with hunting setup? How smooth and quiet is it?

Chadbragg, I came very close to buying a Gardian last month. The only reason I didnt was I found a really good setup from Parker Bows at a great price. I have no guess on the arrow speed but the feel and draw of the Gardian was superb. Get a bow going, We are both on Team #7. :2TU:

Great bow, very very quiet and vibe free. With a 400 grain arrow and 29inch draw you should be around 290fps to 296fps.

Well I did it today, I ordered me a new 07 Bowtech Guardian off from Archery Talk. I got it for $500 to my door! the local shop here wanted $769 + tax for an 08. I think that if the bow is new as the guy says it is I got an outstanding deal! I've already got my accessories picked out!!! I'm hoping to have it in in a week or so!!! I haven't had a new bow in 10 years!!! Needless to say I'm extactic!!! I shot one today and all I can say is SMOOTH, I know some of you are Mathews and other brand guys, as I was hard core PSE, but Bowtech has their stuff together. I shot a Drenalin and an X-force at the Bowtech shop, given they prolly aren't properly tuned because the only reason they have them is to help sell the Bowtech, but I thought the Guardian was smoother!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

My bow should be in tomorrow!!! I have most of my accessories already. I went with: kwikee quiver, cobra stealth sight, alpine pro flex 7" stabilizer, QAD drop away rest, plano protector camo hard case & a new pack of Magnus stinger Buzz cuts!!! All I need as a pro shop to tune it, set me up with some new arrows, put a peep on and I should be ready!!!!!

I know you should be getting your bow soon, you made a good choice. I shot one yesterday, I was very impressed. Got me wanting a new one.

308 is plenty fast for anything in this part of the country. Alot of us shoot bows alot slower than that. Mine has an ibo speed around 310-320, it actually shoots around 270, I'm happy with it but after shooting the gaurdian I may be looking to change before next year.

20Million? I thought you were going to get the bow for $500. Just what type of equipment did you get on it.

I've got it set up and all I can say is wow! This bow shoots so much better than my old PSE. I really like my setup. The bow is maxed out and seems to shoot really flat. I sighted in my 50yd pin and the base is touching the base of my 25yd. I really like the drop away rest also. I'm gonna chrono it soon. I'm shooting 27" Golden Tip XT hunter and all I have on my string is 2 brass nocks & a peep site. I am very satisified with my choice!
